Power-Up With Cloud And Tekton Pipelines

Mario is a software developer. He used to send his code to Luigi so he could deploy them on their servers, but now he wants to adopt the DevOps principles and work with Luigi to deploy his applications. At this point, the Tekton Pipelines will help them. Tekton is a flexible, Kubernets native open source CI/CD framework that enables automation of implementations across multiple platforms – including Kubernets, serverless and VMs – by abstracting the underlying details. During this presentation, participants will learn about some of the tekonn resources and how to install the pipelines and how to use them to build, test, and deploy containerized applications on their clusters.

Joel Lord is passionately interested in the web and technology in general. He likes to learn new things, but he prefers to share his discoveries with others. He does this by traveling to various conferences around the globe. In the last century he graduated in computer programming. Apart from a short break to complete his BSc in computer-based astrophysics, he has always worked in industry. As an advocate for the developers at Red Hat OpenShift, he meets with developers to help them make the web a better place. In his spare time you can usually find him somewhere on a camping site looking at the stars or brewing beer in his garage.
