In this workshop, participants will learn to deploy hosts over the network using orcharhino and then configure the hosts via orcharhino using the common configuration management tools Ansible, Puppet and Saltstack. Participants receive a fully functional test environment on which they can create virtual machines themselves under guidance. The workshop targets host deployment from online repositories, in addition to providing insight into content management and the ability to install offline hosts. Finally, you will learn the basics of Configuration Management and how to use it for the initial host setup. Only a web browser is required for participation, basic Linux knowledge is helpful.
