The path to OpenSource DBaaS with Kubernetes
DBaaS is the fastest growing trend in database deployment. It is fast and convenient and helps to significantly reduce the workload. However, it is usually done with proprietary software and is closely linked to the cloud provider. We believe that Kubernetes finally allows us to develop a fully open source DBaaS solution that can be used wherever Kubernetes runs – in the public cloud or in your private data center.
